Trail Captains
With nine miles of trail, we need all the help we can get. The trail captains help make sure the trail is in the best shape possible, reporting issues that come up, helping to get the word out about events along the trail, and letting us know if changes need to be considered. Thank you Trail Captains!

With over nine miles to cover, we need local eyes and ears to help us keep the trail in tip top shape and to promote the trail. This is where Trail Captains come into play. Some of the activities of a Trail Captain include:
Report issues along their section of the trail (e.g. graffiti, excessive trash, etc.)
Put out yard signs along the trail advertising trail events
Participate in regular trail-wide events (e.g. “For the Love of Trail” litter pick-up, “Seed Bombs”, etc.)
Promote trail events to neighbors (e.g. promote the Trail’s December “Light the Trail” by encouraging neighbors to decorate the back of their fence during the winter holidays.)
